Belmont Built brings together construction, operational, development and commercial leadership to provide an integrated approach to complex housing delivery.
John Hrysikos
Co-Founder & Construction Director
With more than 34 years of experience in the building industry, John Hrysikos has built a reputation for delivering complex residential and commercial projects with a strong focus on quality, certainty and execution. Having grown up on construction sites alongside his father, his understanding of the building process has been shaped through practical experience across every stage of project delivery.
John’s experience extends beyond construction into development. He has worked as a developer in his own right, and has delivered projects internationally, including infrastructure projects overseas. His project experience spans multi-unit residential developments, single dwellings, heritage buildings and commercial construction — breadth that shapes how he reads feasibility, buildability and risk from both the builder’s and the developer’s side of a project.
As Co-Founder and Construction Director of Belmont Built, John leads construction operations and project delivery across the business, overseeing project planning, programme management, construction methodology and on-site execution. As Belmont expands its modular delivery capability, John also provides the construction leadership connecting design, manufacturing, logistics and site installation.
John is recognised for his calm leadership, practical problem-solving and commitment to quality. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of construction methodology underpin Belmont Built’s ability to manage buildability, sequencing and delivery risk while maintaining strong relationships across clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
